1. Philodendron Camposportoanum

Camposportoanum Philodendron is a tropical evergreen plant native to the tropical jungles of Central and South America. The leaves of this plant dramatically change leaf color, shape, and texture as they mature. Young leaves are dark velvety green in color and are heart-shaped. But as the leaves grow, they develop lobes and become smooth.

This plant attains a mature height of a foot or a foot and a half. That’s why it is a great house plant choice for small homes.

2. Chinese Money Plant

Pilea peperomioides or Chinese Money Plant is a unique small-sized plant native to Southern China. It is also known as the Pancake plant or UFO plant due to its beautiful rounded leaves.

It is a lovely plant that can be placed even in compact spaces because it grows only 12 inches tall with an equal width. You can put it on your windowsill or a small coffee table.

The Chinese Money Plant needs bright, indirect sunlight. Therefore, you should rotate it in its place periodically because it has compact foliage. Moreover, it needs to be watered only once a week.

3. Air Plants

If you have a small home, you can beautify it with various varieties of small air plants that are out there because Air Plants are one of the easiest and most attractive houseplants to grow indoors. You also get to choose from different sizes and types. For example, the smallest Air Plant Tillandsia Ionantha Mexican, is only 1-2 inches tall!

Because air plants require minimum care and effort, these are also perfect for beginners. You need to water them only once a week and place them in a room with moderate humidity. There is no need for any pot or any soil-based medium. You can put it anywhere around your home!

4. Echeveria

Echeveria plants are desert plants from the lands of South America, Mexico, and Central America. These are hardy plants, which is why they do so well when grown indoors. They are ultra-low-maintenance plants that thrive on neglect.

Most Echeveria species grow 12 inches tall so they can perfectly beautify small homes. There are also even smaller species of Echeveria present. These can be grown in the tiniest pots. Echeveria needs to be watered every week when it is hot out there. But in milder weather, watering it once every 10 days would be enough.

5. Jade Plant

The Jade plant is a succulent that makes an excellent indoor plant for small homes because it grows not more than 3 to 6 feet tall. You can place it in one of your window sills or coffee tables.

This beautiful plant has oval-shaped, dark-green fleshy leaves that grow on woody stems. Due to its fleshy leaves, the Jade plant is resilient and tolerant of adverse conditions. Therefore, it needs minimum care and maintenance. It needs water only after 2 to 3 weeks.

6. Oxalis

If you are thinking about adding colors to your small plant collection, you can get Oxalis instead of any other flowering plant. It is because not only does this plant produce beautiful, white flowers, it also has deep-purple colored leaves. The purple-white color combination beautifies the homes perfectly in the growing season.

Oxalic have prolific foliage. The leaves are triangular-shaped and grow on long, slender stems. Its foliage can get 12 inches tall, so you can easily beautify your small homes with it. Moreover, it is an easy-care plant that does not fuss about anything.

7. Polka Dot Plant

Another amazing plant that can add a dash of color to your home is Polka Dot Plant. It is also a small-sized, compact plant, so you can grow it even in small spaces. The plant can get up to 3 feet tall when grown indoors.

This lovely plant has variegated leaves that have pink-colored variegations on light-green blades. This plant is also available in white and red colors. This plant prefers bright, indirect sunlight because of these highly variegated leaves.
