2. Disinfect The Dishwasher

Empty the dishwasher. Before running the dishwasher, try adding baking soda or vinegar to the empty compartment. Clean out the food trap at the bottom of your dishwasher. Clean the exterior of the dishwasher.

3. Take On The Refrigerator And Oven

Start cleaning the oven. To prevent the strong odor of the oven cleaning, leave the kitchen windows open.

Don’t forget to vacuum your unplugged refrigerator’s coils. If you can get some assistance moving it, this is a good opportunity to clean and mop beneath it as well. Examine the refrigerator and freezer. Throw away any outdated food, primarily empty containers, and goods you purchased but never used. Place the items to be kept on the counter.

Remove the shelves and drawers from the refrigerator. Wash them and try removing any lingering refrigerator scents. Before reinstalling shelves and food, thoroughly clean the interior of the refrigerator and freezer. If you have a new box of baking soda, unpack it and store it in the refrigerator to keep smells away.

4. Go To The Appliances

First, unplug all appliances. Wipe the microwave, blender, toaster, and other small equipment clean. If the spillage in the microwave is solidified, heat a cup of water in the microwave. The steam should assist in loosening the muck. Heat lemon juice in the microwave if the microwave stinks. Remember to clean the turntable.

5. Work On The Counters And The Sink

Clean your kitchen counters as well as your skin. Don’t forget about the backsplashes. If you have trash disposal, now is the time to clean it by pouring baking soda mixed with warm water or a lemon peel down the drain. To sharpen the blades, run ice cubes through the garbage disposal.

>6. Rearrange Kitchen Drawers And Cabinets

Remove everything from the kitchen cabinets. If necessary, line the cabinets. Discard any mismatched lids or bowls. Remove everything that isn’t utilized on a regular basis. Clean and reorganize the interior and exterior of cabinets. Clean out any drawers and wipe them down. Sort through your flatware. This is an excellent opportunity to insert drawer dividers to improve the organization of your kitchen drawers.

7. Sweep And Mop The Floor

Clean the floors using a broom and a mop. Don’t forget about the baseboards. Using a rag or cloth while on your knees and hands is one of the best methods to thoroughly clean a floor.

Endnote

Your kitchen is the heartbeat of your house because it is the core of your home life and the location where both actual and metaphorical nutrition takes place. Having a clean kitchen is the first step toward having a thoroughly clean home.
