The first is for the freon connection between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit, and the second is for the electrical connection. The interblock line is made to lay the copper pipes and electric cable between the modules of the climatic device and drainage hose. The second route is carried out from the power supply node to the indoor unit or outdoor unit, depending on the brand of the device.
Cables and pipes, if they are not hidden, look unaesthetic and spoil the whole interior of the room, so they try to hide them as well as possible. AC Installer can do this in two ways:

Installation of Air Conditioner on the Prepared Track
The price of installation of the air conditioner on the ready track is lower than the standard, but there are nuances. You need to understand how long ago it was laid, and how well it is mothballed. If it was not mothballed, technically it is being prepared: at least purged with nitrogen, and even washed with a special liquid. This makes it more expensive. But all the same, it is cheaper than a complete installation from scratch.

When it is Better to Mount the Conditioner – in Winter or in Summer
From a technical point of view, installation of air conditioners in winter is quite acceptable. But you should not make a connection and first start at subzero temperatures.
