1. The Balkans

The Balkans is a region in south-eastern Europe that includes countries such as Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. These countries offer stunning landscapes, fascinating cultures, and plenty of opportunities for adventure – all at very affordable prices. There are many activities to choose from such as hiking in the mountains, taking boat trips down rivers, and exploring ancient cities. 

Food is also incredibly cheap here, so you can enjoy delicious local dishes without spending too much money. The Balkan countries also have plenty of natural parks, where you can explore the local wildlife and enjoy beautiful views. It is a great way to save money while still having an amazing vacation experience. 

2. Prague

Located in the Czech Republic, Prague is known for its stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, and delicious food. It’s also one of the most budget-friendly cities in Europe. Accommodation is very affordable here and there are plenty of things to do for free such as taking a stroll around the city center or visiting world-famous attractions like Charles Bridge.

There are also many outdoor markets where you can find great souvenirs at bargain prices. The best time to visit Prague is during summer when the weather is pleasant but it’s still relatively cheap compared to other European capitals. 

3. Budapest

Budapest provides an incredible mix of culture and history at a fraction of the cost of other major European cities. The city offers amazing sites such as Fisherman’s Bastion and the Citadel, as well as a range of activities such as thermal baths and boat cruises down the Danube.

Accommodation is quite affordable here and there are lots of budget-friendly restaurants offering delicious Hungarian cuisine. Budapest also has some great nightlife spots with lively bars and pubs full of locals – perfect for meeting new people! 

4. The villages of France

5. San Sebastian

6. Krakow
